Researcher Alexandre Sukhov is awarded the prestigious Wallander Scholarship of SEK 1.725 000 for his doctoral dissertation "The human side of idea screening" which deals with idea evaluation and development in the front end of innovation.
"This is fantastic news and a great honor! Thanks to the scholarship I will have full funding for the next three years to continue my research with the ambition to achieve associate professor competence," says Alexandre Sukhov, researcher at CTF, Service Research Center, and assistant professor at Karlstad Business School.
His research focuses on innovation management and he is interested in research methods. In his doctoral thesis he examined the human side of idea screening by studying the idea screening process for new technology products and services in different businesses and public organizations.
Now, he hopes to develop his research in collaboration with other researchers and universities.
"This is really good news, both for Alexandre and CTF. It is also an acknowledgement that our research is of high quality," says Per Kristensson, professor and director of CTF.
In 2018, Kaisa Koskela-Huotari, researcher at CTF and lecturer at Karlstad Business School, also received the scholarship.
Alexandre Sukhov is also actively involved in teaching in innovation management, idea management, industrial marketing, and supervises in industrial engineering and management at Karlstad Business School.
About the Wallander Scholarship
Jan Wallander and Tom Hedelius Foundation and the Tore Browaldh Foundation award the Wallander Scholarship to young outstanding doctors who recently have defended their dissertations. The idea is that the scholar will have the opportunity to achieve associate professor competence during a fully funded three-year period.
Jan Wallanders and Tom Hedelius Foundation and the Tore Browaldh's Foundation aim to support Social Science research, primarily in Economic History, Economic Geography, Business Administration, Economics and Econometrics.
