Already in the middle of your career? Boost your skills at the Business School
Societal challenges require in-depth competence. For those of you who already have a career, the Business School offers you to further sharpen your skills.
There are different ways to boost your education. On the one hand, your employer can pay for the education and on the other hand, you can study at the School of Economics as a student. The difference between the different ways is that if you study privately, you are legally a student and have, for example, the right to CSN. If your employer pays, you are instead a participant.

Most organizations understand the value of competence development, but sometimes the backing of a clear structure and a smart strategy is needed to get the desired effect.
- When the world around us is in constant transformation, competence development needs to keep pace, says Camilla Johannesson, CEO and coordinator at Karlstad University's Tasks AB.
Uppdrags AB has two primary types of course structure - open and tailored training.
- If you as a company have a large group that will attend the training and if the content is to be colored by the organization's needs, we recommend the tailor-made solution. But there are also clear advantages to letting your staff take an open course. For example, by establishing contacts and exchanging experiences with other companies.
An employer can also buy a single place for their employee on a regular course. The participant then reads together with students.
