Tourism is one of the fastest growing industries, both in Sweden and internationally. The study programme in tourism gives you broad knowledge of the circumstances and conditions of the tourist industry.

Prerequisites
General admission requirements + upper secondary school level Social Studies 1b or 1a1 + 1a2 or A, and English 6 or B. Optional courses may have additional requirements.

The programme develops students' ability to identify, analyse and structure the problems of tourism-related activities. The programme emphasises the importance of nature and culture for tourism and its development.Form of Instruction
Teaching is usually in the form of lectures, group work, seminars and field studies.Examination
The forms of examination may vary. There are both oral and written exams. There are no set examination periods, and generally no final exam at the end of a semester, an academic year, or a complete study programme.
