CTF is launching new courses in service research for professionals
2019-10-30CTF, Service Research Center at Karlstad University, is now offering advanced skills development for professionals through two tailor-made courses in the field of services. The courses are based on research focusing on value creation, and aim to strengthen the competitiveness of the Swedish business sector.
In November and December, two new courses will be launched within the framework of ISE, Improving value creation through service education, which is a collaborative project between academia and industry aimed at strengthening the competitiveness of the Swedish business sector. The ISE project is carried out in collaboration with a number of companies and is financed by the KK Foundation's program "Graduate Professional Development".
"The new courses will offer up-to-date and relevant skills development at an advanced level directly to professionals in the business sector." says Carolina Camén, Project Manager for ISE. Continuous skills development for professionals is important, especially in today’s society where the development is moving incredibly fast.
The courses are based on CTF's research focusing on value creation through services. They are designed to enable professionals to combine studies with work, to practice and test newly acquired knowledge and insights within their own operations.
"For us, targeted educational efforts in collaboration with businesses is a way to contribute to a sustainable and competitive development of the Swedish business sector." says Carolina Camén.
Designing and implementing service strategies
