Independent project, Higher Education Diploma
7.5 ECTS creditsStudents complete a research project in English linguistics or English literature and present it in an independent written report. Instruction is in the form of seminars and individual or group supervision. The course concludes with a mandatory seminar where students present and defend their independent projects and serve as peer reviewers of each other's work. Supervision is provided for the duration of the course. Reregistered students are offered supervision if circumstances permit.

ENGA30 English A 30 ECTS credits, or ENGA31 Sounds and Structures of English (7.5 ECTS credits), ENGA32 English Linguistics I: Concepts and Theories (7.5 ECTS credits), ENGA33 Academic English (7.5 ECTS credits), and ENGA34 Introduction to English Literature (7.5 ECTS credits), plus ENGB60 English B with course module 1, Academic Writing in English (7.5 ECTS credits), completed, or ENGB61 Academic Writing in English (7.5 ECTS credits), or equivalent
