Vulnerable children and families - Children's health from social and psychological perspectives

The course provides a deeper knowledge of how to understand children's health from a social and psychological perspective. It includes theoretical understanding of the risk and protective factors involved in children's social and psychological health and its application.
Areas treated are:
- exposed children, violence in close relationships, and deviant behaviour
- theories at individual, group and society levels
- professional conduct and the rights of children and families in relation to societal efforts.

General admission requirements for admission to Master's level. Special requirements: Completed courses of 60 ECTS cr at university level and upper secondary level Swedish 3 or B/Swedish 2 B or 3 M and English 6 or A, or equivalent.

Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
