Degree Project
15.0 ECTS creditsInstruction is in the form of lectures, supervision, and a seminar. The lectures give an in-depth account of various types of research methods. The degree project is primarily expected to be carried out in conjunction with an external company or organisation, but this is not an absolute requirement. At the beginning of the course, students submit a project plan specifying the design and process, for the approval of the examiner before they can start the project and get supervision. The project plan must include background, aim, problem, bibliography, method and a time plan. Students can choose to work alone or in pairs. If two students collaborate, different problems must be clearly stated. The written report, the presentation and seminar discussion are also individual. Students are required to serve as peer reviewer at the final seminar.
The course also includes a mandatory seminar where the project plan is presented and discussed.
The degree project is an independent activity and the student is responsible for the process and the result. The student is also responsible for planning and requesting supervision sessions. The number of sessions is limited (see course PM) and are only provided dor the course duration.
