Music, Dance and Culture

In the region of Värmland there is a deeply rooted cultural tradition in which all forms of music, dance and art plays an important role. Culture is also an important part of education at Karlstad University. The Ingesund School of Music outside Arvika is one of six music colleges in Sweden. At Ingesund we offer several education programmes with artistic and pedagogical development with musical breadth. In our range of courses in artistic studies you also find a large number of courses in Dance, Visual Art in Theory and Practice and Cultural Studies.
