Teaching on campus for new programme students
2020-06-11The fall semester 2020 can start with campus teaching for new students on programs, has the Vice Chancellor Johan Sterte decided. Elements that are crucial for student progression and must be implemented on campus, will also be prioritized.
But the start this fall will not be quite as usual. The Public Health Authority's guidelines on distance and hand hygiene still applies - stay at home when you feel unwell, wash your hands often and keep your distance to others.
- It feels good to offer new programme students a start on campus. At the same time we will make sure to start in a responsible way. The decision will take effect from June 15, 2020 and Karlstad University has developed guidelines for what applies when teaching returns to campus. This year's summer courses continue to take place at a distance. First-time students on campus-based programs are prioritized. Elements that are crucial to students’ progression and must be implemented on campus, will then be prioritized.
