GIO also offers targeted informational and educational sessions for research groups and institutions that want to develop research strategies or know more about what is important to consider when writing research funding proposals.

Budget planning and reporting

Financial officers at the Department of Economics and Planning provide support when planning the project's costs and preparing the project budget. When a project is awarded, they also support with reviewing the financial parts of the project, such as financial transactions and reporting.

Agreements and legal issues
