Research
Admitted as a doctoral student 50% at Public Health Science in December 2020 with a focus on oral health from a preventive salutogenic public health perspective.
As a Dental Hygienist, I want to work to ensure that all people in our society really have and receive the same participation and conditions for their own health.
The body is a whole and a lack of oral health affects the body negatively and vice versa.
The overall goal of my dissertation is to use a salutogenic approach and psychopedagogical model to motivate people with mental variations to find their motivation, ability, resource and strategies for taking care of their oral health, which in turn can increase the person's well-being.
Teaching
Part of the teaching team at the program's courses and really appreciates teaching the program's clinical practical courses and appreciates being a part of the students' development, where the work is further stimulated by finding creative digital solutions for our online pedagogical education. Emphasizes that learning takes place student-centered where students participate and are involved and stimulated at their own risk through a permissive, safe, unpretentious environment while courses, arrangements, tasks, examinations are adapted and challenging with progression during the program.
