Research
My research focus on the production of high-quality refined biofuels from forest-based residues in an environmentally friendly way. The processes studied are mainly drying, pelleting and anaerobic digestion.
I lead the research team Water-Energy Nexus, which is part of the research environment Pro2BE (Processes and Products for a Circular BioEconomy)

Teaching
I have taught university level Environmental Chemistry, Environmental and Energy Systems, Cleaning Technology, Sustainable development for engineers, FoU-projects, and Master theses. I have also taught PhD students the course Scientific Writing.
I am the author of two university level course books, Introduction to Environmental Chemistry, and Cleaning technology (with Maria Sandberg), both published by Studentlitteratur. I have also produced a chapter in the innovative digital study material Your Chemistry aimed at highschool students.
I am also the author of a self-published cookbook Climate neutral food on scientific grounds (with alina Hagelqvist).
