Spanish I: Modern Spanish Literature and Film
7.5 ECTS creditsThe course centres on individual study, analysis, and discussions of a selection of 20th and 21st century Spanish and Spanish-American literary texts. Basic terminology of text analysis and discussion is treated. The texts are analysed and discussed in Spanish in terms of literary aspects, style, language, and underlying cultural contexts in the Spanish-speaking world. The analysis, terminology, and discussion of various types of modern Spanish and Spanish-American film are included.
