Students have the opportunity to
- use ICT in school
- interpret and apply relevant steering documents
- document, assess and/or grade student knowledge in relation to school goals
- plan, lead, and evaluate teaching during a longer period with consideration of student knowledge, abilities, and needs and participate in all aspects of their future profession in school
- practically implement pedagogical and subject-specific teaching theories
- take part in improvement efforts
- observe and problematise cooperation and communication between students, guardians, and school staff
- analyse and evaluate the teaching profession and their own professional development in relation to previously identified development areas
- handle special needs issues in cooperation with others.

Teacher Education, years 7-9: 120 ECTS credits completed in the subject, Practical Placement I and Practical Placement II completed, and the courses LPGA10, LPGA11, LPAA01, LPAA02, and LPAA03.
Teacher Education, upper secondary school: 180 ECTS credits completed in the subject, Practical Placement I and Practical Placement II completed, and the courses LPGA10, LPGA11, LPAA01, LPAA02, and LPAA03.

Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
