- rules of arithmetic for real numbers, factoring, square root, equations, completing the square, equation systems, inequalities, polynomial and rational expressions, absolute numbers,
- geometric vectors,
- basic classical geometry theorems of uniformity, congruence, and angles,
- the concept of function,
- polynomial, power, exponential, and logarithmic functions,
- logarithms and logarithmic laws.

General admission requirements and upper secondary school level Mathematics 2, or equivalent
Selection:
Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
