Economics - Bachelor's Thesis
15.0 ECTS creditsThe course consists of three parts. In the first part of the course, students attend classes on research methods. In this part, students learn about methods for writing scientific essays and discuss the basics of the theory of science. In the second part of the course, students work independently on their essays under the guidance of an appointed supervisor. The third part of the course consists of a series of seminars during which students defend their own degree projects, act as opponent for another student's project, and participate actively in the seminar discussions of projects submitted by other students on the course.
Supervision is only offered to students while the course is in progress. Students who fail to complete the project satisfactorily during this time may re-register at the next course opportunity. They will then be offered additional supervision to the extent made possible by available resources.

Admission requirements
Economics 60 ECTS cr including Econometrics NEGB22 7,5 ECTS cr or equivalent plus additional courses totalling at least 22,5 ECTS cr at the G1F level.

Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
