Do you want to delve into how digital and social media affect our everyday lives? Then you've come to the right place. After completing the training, you will be able to demonstrate a solid knowledge of strategic and scientific perspectives in digital media. You will also be able to identify important societal and scientific questions as well as to determine which data and which type of data analysis can provide answers to them.The program's courses mixes theory and practice and workprocess and are thoroughly designed so as to offer: practical training in acquisition, processing, analyzing and data visualization; opportunities to master advanced research methods in media and communication science understandings of digital media and their relationship to technology, culture and society; updated discussions around issues of power and ethics in digital media landscapes.
The Digital Media and Analysis program requires personal work, interest and commitment. Most of the courses are given and examined in English, which prepares you for a career in an international job market.
Form of Instruction
Teaching is in the form of lectures, seminars and group work. The number of scheduled hours per week varies. Students are required to study on their own. The programme represents full-time work, i.e. an average workload of 40 hours per week.Examination
Examination usually takes place at the end of each course, module, or unit. There are no set examination periods, and generally no final exam at the end of a semester, an academic year, or a complete study programme.Study Abroad
