The 17th annual Teacher Education Policy in Europe (TEPE) conference is being organised at Karlstad university, Sweden from 8th – 10th May 2023. The theme of the conference is: Transformation of knowledge in and on teacher education: policy and practice in times of change.

Themes

TEPE 2023 welcomes contributions that address these questions in relation to the following themes:

• Theme 1: Teacher education research for change: practice-based research for transformation
• Theme 2: Knowledge transformation in subject-specific research and comparative studies in education
• Theme 3: Continuous professional development in times of change
• Theme 4: The impact of policy on teacher education in times of change.

Important dates

• 31 January 2023 (Extended deadline): Submission of abstracts
• 1 February 2023: Registration opens
• 10 April 2023: Abstract acceptance notice
• 21 April 2023: Registration deadline
