In December 2017, Professor Satoshi Fujii was appointed Ander Visiting Professor at CTF. Last week, he paid his first visit to CTF to get acquainted with the research center and to meet with the researchers. Dr. Satoshi Fujii is a professor of transportation planning and behavioral-psychological analysis of transportation in the Department of Urban Management at Kyoto University, Japan.

The research project Music Ecosystems Inner Scandinavia (MECO) aims to strengthen the music industry in inner Scandinavia through increased knowledge and innovation. The project has received SEK 21 million from various actors and will now be carried out by Karlstad University, the Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences (INN University), and Studiefrämjandet.

Johan Quist, researcher at CTF, has been appointed Associate Professor of Business Administration at Karlstad Business School at Karlstad University. His research interests revolve around how the public sector can be better, more relevant and appropriate. Johan Quist does research in the public sector, with focus on service logic.

Johanna Gummerus is an associate professor in marketing at Hanken, School of Economics, and during three years she will be one of our Ander Visiting Professor at CTF. In May she paid her first visit to CTF in her new assignment. "CTF is really an inspiring and interesting research environment. Professor Martin Schreier was appointed Ander Visiting Professor at CTF in December 2017. In the beginning of May he visited CTF to meet with the researchers, and to give a seminar on customer empowerment and crowdsourcing. “I have heard a lot about CTF, and of course I am familiar with the excellent research produced by the group. The first week at CTF made me excited about the coming years.

The new book “Quality of Life and Daily Travel” describes the relationships between life satisfaction, well-being and daily travel.
